One Week

>This is my first ever blog entry, and unfortunately its going to be short (with plenty of misspellings qs i am unaccustomed to the french keyboard.) It's been a week since my departure across a few time zones and the atlantic ocean. Things havnt really been going my way since I got on the plane. I nearly missed my flight from london to paris, and arrived in Paris sans one bag. Jenna was a fabulous host and we walked aroung about five arrondissements window-shopping our hearts out. The next day I missed my train to Montpellier and was unable to find a pay phone that accepted change to alert my host family. Two hours after my expected arrival and a confusing and tres cher cab ride later I arrived. I spoke to my host mother for about 10 minutes before passing out for nearly 13 hours. She has been gone all week on a business trip, so I look forward to getting to know her better. My "sister" floriane likes to sleep more than I do, but it seems like thats about all we have in common. She drives a motorcycle to school(!) and she said she xwould teach me to ride it sometime. I wish I had more fantastic things to say, but the reality is that Ive been pretty bored and lonely this past week. School doesnt start for another two weeks and I havent met any friends yet. The internet ne marche pas avec my computer, so Ive been using Florianes this week. Hopefully when my host mother returns she will be able to fix that and my boredom will subside a bit. I hope this post was satisfactory enough for curious minds, and sooner or later Ill get the hang of this blogging thing. Tchau
